Wolf Tree

Originally, I thought of drawing butterflies as a tree because I love to create trees. However, the color scheme I picked out today is unique in it's own way. The tree originally have a lot of color, but a sudden change or accident of a filter "Luminosity" create a different mood to the piece.

After the tree is created, I still feel it was missing something. I added the city in the back, and reflection. In my mind I thought of making the girl in blue to match the monochromatic theme, but red also reminds me of Little Red Riding Hood.

Before the girl was in the illustration, the tree looks rather haunted. What in the world can I do to make this piece look like it's living?

Perhaps I will retell the story of Little Red Riding Hood.
